Even though his career as a sculptor is very much in the foreground of his practice, Aromire is as involved and endowed as a painter. His works of wood and fibre glass stand side by side with his equally evocative and insightful paintings on canvas. His works are full of energy and they possess very powerful visual impact. His paintings operate layers of imbedded meanings and a part of their enjoyment is the challenge we face with unravelling them.
